R&D is in our DNA

Doing cutting-edge R&D is part of QinetiQ’s make-up. We constantly demonstrate that we have the intellectual rigour, the facilities, the resources and the sheer determination to push the boundaries of what’s technologically possible. But no-one has a monopoly on good ideas, so we actively develop R&D partnerships with like-minded organisations.

One way we do so is through collaborative programmes with a network of UK universities. These partnerships give us access to expertise, facilities and resources that complement our own. They now play a key role in helping us bring new academic scientific and technological discoveries to bear on the challenges faced by our defence, aerospace, security and commercial clients.
