Can I send you my CV?
All of our applications are online so please refer to our How to Apply section
Do you employ non-UK nationals?
Because of the type of work that we do, many of our jobs require high level Security Clearance with its associated requirements of five years residency in the UK.
Can you help me obtain a work permit?
What is the closing date for applications?
Our advice is to apply early. For a September 2013 start, we usually close in late November but the scheme can fill quickly when we find the right candidates. For vacancies that occur throughout the year, there will be a closing date on the advert.
How long does the application process take?
We will try to contact you soon after your application is received though that will depend on numbers of applications. If your application is successful, we’ll invite you to a telephone interview and then an assessment centre. If you pass the assessment centre, you can expect an initial offer within days. We have to take up references and obtain security clearance and that may take a little time after the initial offer is made.
What if I can’t make the assessment centre date?
We will try to offer you alternative dates but this isn’t always possible.
Will you reimburse my expenses if I attend an assessment centre?
Yes, we will offer to pay reasonable travelling expenses. This can include a stay in a hotel the night before if you have to travel a long way.
Can I delay my start with you as I’m thinking of taking a year out?
This might be possible but it depends on our business requirements and your reasons for deferral.
Will I receive feedback on my application?
Feedback can be given if you are successful at assessment centre.
What is the dress code?
This can vary depending on where you work and what you are doing. Most people stick to smart casual or standard business wear.
Can you help me find accommodation?
This is one of the services offered by our graduate network who’ll meet you at the assessment centre.
Do you offer industrial placements?
The majority of our placement candidates join via our Year in Industry scheme. Please see here for further details: http://www.yini.org.uk
