The Value of Partnering

Partnerships are key to the way that we work. Only by understanding the needs of our customers can we provide solutions that really add value.

Combining our skills and technology with other companies through such mechanisms as a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) can be of great mutual benefit.

A good example of an MoU signing is our agreement with Boeing, which has led to us working with the aerospace giant on its new 787 Dreamliner superplane.

When we work on collaborative projects, we combine our skills and technologies with other companies - large and small. We provide a link between the academic and commercial worlds and have a growing relationship with a number of universities.

We are working with Advantage West Midlands on a multi-million pound project to help business develop and integrate innovative solutions using advanced sensor technologies.

Working with Carson Helicopters to modify its helicopter blades, our engineers carried out a test programme to examine aircraft handling, performance and vibration characteristics. This is thought to be the most significant modification made to a helicopter in the UK by a non aircraft manufacturer.
