Greg’s biography

Greg Wilcock was appointed Managing Director of QinetiQ Novare in 2008 following the acquisition of Novare Group by QinetiQ. Greg had been the Managing Director of Novare since 2006 following four years of service. He was involved in projects including the identification of design safety standards for explosive ordnance (EO), the development of EO and weapon certification processes and the assessment of the compliance of EO to accepted design standards.

Prior to joining Novare, Greg worked as an engineer in the Royal Australian Air Force. In later postings, Greg was responsible for the design safety assessment of all ordnance entering the Air Force service. As an Air Force armament officer he held Senior Design Engineer (SDE) status for all Australian Army, Navy and Air Force weapons.

Greg has an honours degree in Chemical Engineering and a masters degree in Explosive Ordnance Engineering.
