Jon's biography
Following QinetiQ’s acquisition of three Australian companies in early 2008, Jon Carroll was seconded from QinetiQ Novare to become Managing Director of QinetiQ Consulting. After serving in the Royal Air Force for 20 years, Jon joined Novare in July 2006 and was appointed Operations Manager in January 2007. In this role, he was responsible for the day-to-day running of the company’s operations and for successfully exceeding its financial targets.

In the Royal Air Force, Jon was an Aerosystems Engineer Officer. He held a number of aircraft and weapon related appointments, serving in both the UK and overseas. Latterly, he worked with several aerospace companies to assist with the development of long-term partnering agreements for the in-service support of various aircraft types. Jon retired from the Royal Air Force in late 2005 and relocated to Australia.

Jon is a Master of Business Administration and a postgraduate qualified Aerosystems Engineer. He is a Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society and is registered with the Engineering Council (UK).
