Mary’s biography
Mary is the Managing Director of Integrated Systems. Her business focuses on using QinetiQ's rich technology base to provide solutions for the market. Mary's goals are to build on QinetiQ’s science and knowledge to grow and develop QinetiQ’s supply business into the UK defence sector and to expand into new geographic and adjacent markets. In April 2006, Mary also took on responsibility for QinetiQ’s Health Safety and Environment policy for which she is accountable to the Chief Executive.
Mary has a strong science and systems engineering background and has held a variety of senior technical and management posts within QinetiQ and its predecessors including Managing Director of Managed Services, Director of Land and Weapon Systems, Director of Programmes and Strategy in Future Systems and Technology, Programme Director Manoeuvre from where she went on to become the Managing Director of the MOD Channel with responsibility for QinetiQ’s MOD business and Compliance Director accountable to the board. She joined the Defence Research Agency (DRA) from industry in late 1991 and has been part of its transformation through the Defence Evaluation and Research Agency (DERA) to QinetiQ in 2001.
Mary was educated at London University and is a Chartered Psychologist. |
