We believe that staff with specialist knowledge and skills should care for people who require hyperbaric oxygen therapy. These skills enable us to recognise the impact of the disease process that require such therapy, on both the patients and their families.
Specialist care is planned and given in response to physical, emotional, psychological, cultural and spiritual needs as expressed by the individual.
The clinical staff of the Hyperbaric Medicine Unit pursue clinical excellence using evidence based practice, peer support and accept responsibility for their professional development.
