Sensor Array Processing

We develop signal processing algorithms for a variety of sensor systems, from radar to acoustic.

Our radar signal processing team developed foreign object debris (FOD) detection algorithms for QinetiQ’s Tarsier system. We have also worked on perimeter security radar systems which can be used alone or combined with other sensors (e.g. CCTV) for a complete security solution.

Our work on MOD contracts ranges from developing antenna array geometries and image formation algorithms for an e-scan flat-panel MWW imager to long term support for the MESAR series of Naval Radar demonstrators.

We also have expertise in the fields of communications, acoustics and ESM. We have contributed algorithms and FPGA implementation to QinetiQ’s LastMile project. We also developed real-time blind signal separation code for ESM applications. We have made significant improvements in the sensitivity of magnetometers using adaptive noise cancellation.
