We have particular expertise on the insertion of new materials and different processes into industrial production lines.

Our advanced modelling techniques will provide an opportunity to quantify and realise the benefits of integration or re-ordering of the different phases of the manufacturing cycle and the subsequent performance of the constituent parts.

With our optimisation methodology we can design tools and moulds for large, curved, components like wing skins and take into account different ageing/curing processes and spring back mechanisms.

Our methodology has been successfully used in the creep age forming process of wing skins but the process is equally valid for composite structures with thermo-set or thermo-plastic matrices.
