Our unique understanding of modular systems for bridging and gap crossing began with the WW2 Bailey bridge. Our developments have led to the speeding up of construction times and reducing the manpower demands through the successful implementation of novel materials and mechanised handling systems. Innovation continues with research into the use of inflatable fascines and application of composite materials to further improve structural stiffness and provide high strength while reducing weight. Our successful designs range from footbridges to vehicle bridges which allows the heaviest vehicles to safely cross gaps ranging from 7-60 metres.
