Longcross Robot

Longcross is a versatile modular Remote Controlled Vehicle (RCV) weighing 340kg with a payload capacity of over 200kg. The RCV can be controlled up to 1km line-of-sight using a portable handheld controller.

Longcross Robot Longcross has a carbon-fibre moulded hull and is environmentally shielded to protect against harsh conditions. The RCV is a tracked vehicle that utilises tank technology to ensure the tracks are less likely to be thrown. The maximum speed of the RCV is 15mph, which can be adjusted with different gear ratios. Two compartments are utilised on the vehicle. One houses the electronics and batteries to drives the vehicle whilst the other one is left empty for user payloads.
