Automotive Performance Trials
QinetiQ automotive performance trials are conducted using latest generation GPS based data loggers which offer highly accurate measurement of all vehicle performance parameters. Such trials include vehicle braking, acceleration, maximum speed or in gear acceleration times, gradeability, noise, vibration and harshness measurement as well as vehicle engine cooling assessments using our proven wheeled dynamometer facility.

QinetiQ have years of experience in compiling entries for the JSP 71 database. This comprises data gathering and collation, assessments for slinging, road and rail tie down schemes, plus out sourcing the production of rail, air and sea entry sheets to the relevant agencies. QinetiQ have also successfully advised the UK Police on the appropriate use of restraint techniques on commercial vehicles.
