We have developed a number of capabilities, products and services that have contributed to improvements to Command and Control systems. Our data fusion capability demonstrates how sophisticated automatic picture compilation techniques can be applied in operational systems to provide an enhanced tactical picture. Improving situational awareness and reducing operator workload, data fusion helps users make timely and informed decisions in complex situations, increasing operational effectiveness. AERIS is a fully engineered real-time simulation environment product with integrated scenario generation facilities that can be used to stimulate a variety of naval and other systems for research, integration, acceptance and training. It has been employed successfully as the scenario generator for the Type 23 and Type 42, and is currently used as the Type 45 Factory Support Environment scenario generator and animator system.
