Sway and balance analysis

We can measure body sway and identify any drug that increases the propensity of the patient to fall
We can measure body sway and identify any drug that increases the propensity of the patient to fall due to the prescription of that drug. We have conducted multi-centre sway studies with upto 32 remote sites each measuring the sway of patients taking part in a drug trial.
We use motion capture routinely to analyse complex human motions such as walking, response speeds and the accuracy of targeted movements and those initiated in response to a sensory trigger - important in studies of aphasia and ataxia.
Motion capture helps clients visualise these movements and optimise their intervention strategy. Motion capture helps optimise the analysis pipeline - from quantifying the level of deficit through to identifying and developing solutions.
We can provide
  • Accurate detection of subtle changes in physical movement
  • Comprehensive specialised movements laboratory
  • Simulation of occupational environments
