Planning and Documenting Infosec

The aim of this course is to introduce delegates to Domain Based Security techniques and to show how they can be applied to information systems to ensure organisational security policy objectives are met.
On completion of this course delegates should be able to:

  • Scope Information Security problems and plan to resolve them
  • Model security aspects of an organisation or project
  • Apply rigorous and structured risk analysis to the model
  • Understand the roles of different security documents in through life security
  • Produce information security documentation fit for purpose

The course will provide delegates with opportunities to consider how the principles and techniques could be applied in various BS7799 and government organisations. The principles and techniques
that have been applied to define specific activities and document types to support the MoD Accreditation process will also be explained.
