Managing your Learning

Attending QinetiQ scheduled courses allows Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) qualification holders to maintain their certifications by building up the Continuous Professional Education (CPE) credits. Qualification holders need these points to show competence to the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) - the body that manages the certifications.

The Infosec Training Paths and Competencies scheme (ITPC) also accredits QinetiQ training where appropriate. Attendance will help you build up the proof of competence required by that scheme. The ITPC scheme is managed by the Central Sponsor for Information Assurance (CSIA) and was set up to develop and support Infosec Core Competency Profiles for key security roles within Government. By completing the scheme you will receive the Certificate of Infosec Competency.
