About ASAP

ASAP Calibration Services Ltd is an independent, wholly owned subsidiary of QinetiQ Ltd, Europe's leading research based organisation. It has become the largest and best-equipped independent calibration house in the UK. The company also boasts the most extensively UKAS accredited technical capability of any commercial service provider in the country.

The company was initially formed as a Joint Venture between QinetiQ and ASAP Holdings Ltd (the entity created out of the MBO of Wyko Calibration Services, part of the Wyko Industrial Services Group) on June 5th 2003. The company has inherited a tradition going back more than 30 years supplying high quality valued services to the UK and international market place.

In February 2005, QinetiQ purchased the remaining shares in ASAP Calibration as part of its wider strategy for growing its business in the asset management and equipment support market.
Today the company employs large numbers of qualified engineers and technicians across a wide range of instrumentation and measurement disciplines. We operate from 3 major service centre locations at Farnborough (Hants), Leigh near Manchester and from our headquarters site in Romsey, near Southampton. Supported by one or more specially adapted collection/delivery vans at each site, ASAP is able to provide truly national service coverage.

In determining the best solution to your service requirements, we are also able to draw upon the technical know-how of the thousands of scientists and engineers across the wider QinetiQ organisation.

The company's mission is to offer a truly one-stop solution to our clients' calibration and equipment support requirements. This is achieved by delivering a consistently high quality service that covers a broad range of parameters for both laboratory and on-site calibration, equipment repair, instrument sales, inventory management and consultancy.
