Advance Technology Solutions (ATS) provides our customers across the Australian Defence Organisation and the private sector with integrated solutions leveraging the best of existing QinetiQ technologies, commercial off-the-shelf-tools and bespoke development. Simulation and training systems
We provide system development for part task trainers; non-technical skills development; decision support; capability development using COTS tools and serious game environments; and ongoing support of developed systems.
Mission planning
ATS is recognised within the mission planning community for our technological expertise in enhancing our customers’ Defence capabilities. Our competencies include MPS and PFPS development; off board mission planning system development and through life support; and desktop weapons rehearsal, training and analysis tools.
Capability and assessment reporting
ATS has developed an indigenous tool to support astute strategic, operational and tactical decision making and management capabilities. It is designed to be a part of integrated composite of people, process, tools and products to assist managers at all levels to measure and evaluate the entities operational performance. The tool is web-enabled and uses a database that can be tailored to represent an organisation and to assess any aspect of performance.
Asset tracking
ATS has a tool currently employed by the Australian Defence Force to track personnel movements and provide secure information from a remote/deployed site via scanned identity cards. The solution can also be extended to include real time tracking of personnel or assets with GPS/RF or high reliability iridium-based communication networks.
Software and simulation systems development
ATS has a proven and extensive capability to provide specialist simulation system development; software development; and system architecture, engineering and support.
