Ethics
All trials involving human subjects carried out by the Haldane-Spearman Consortium must be approved by the QinetiQ Ethics Committee and the MoD Research Ethics Committee. This applies to all trials or field studies involving human subjects conducted under the Preparing People for Operations Enabling Agreement.
A trial in this instance is defined as any study, trial or experiment that involves the participation of human subjects or volunteers.
The documentation contained in this site will help guide you through the rationale and procedures required to write and submit a protocol to obtain approval to undertake a trial on human subjects. Further information can be obtained from the Programme Manager or Technical Director of the Haldane Spearman Consortium.
