Sharing knowledge and research with stakeholders

Understanding Needs.
The Consortium will strive to understand the customer’s needs. Interviews and meetings with customers will be proposed for whole programmes and for individual tasks. A specific interview/questionnaire format will be used as a basis for establishing knowledge and information needs of customers, and will be given to customers as early as possible in the process.

Sharing Knowledge with the Broader Community.
This is an issue that requires careful consideration due to the sensitive nature of many research tasks. Where possible, and with the customer’s consent, HSC would publish material in open peer reviewed journals.

Transfer of Knowledge to stakeholders.
HSC would wish to hold stakeholders seminars to present project outcomes and generate requirements for the future. For each task, the Consortium will invite the customer to specify a targeted stakeholder, and on completion of the task the Consortium will brief the results and outputs directly to that stakeholder.
