Data Link Message Translator

The data link translator engine is a software solution that can translate data link messages between disparate Air, Ground and Maritime platforms.

The supplied toolset includes utilities to enable high-level end users to easily and dynamically configure the translator to provide support for individual platforms before and during an operation or exercise.

As the translator is hardware independent, it can be hosted by any local or networked systems. This facility allows users the freedom to locate the hardware hosting the system in the place most convenient to them.

The translator currently supports the following data links

  • Link 16
  • TACFIRE
  • AFAPD
  • VMF

The translator is available to run under Windows/Unix and PowerPC/Intel processors.
