Command & Control Planning

We are a world expert in the development of Command and Control (C2) tools and techniques.

For many years, we has supported the UK Ministry of Defence and other customers on a broad range of C2 issues from process modelling and operational analysis to requirements capture and training.

Our approach to C2 consulting is to take a total systems view of the issues facing the client including people, processes, organisation and technologies.

Consultancy Expertise Our consulting teams are diverse and include domain experts, psychologists, business process analysts and software systems developers and systems architects. We have extensive simulation facilities with which to test C2 systems.

Joint Air Operations Model
We developed the business process model used by the RAF for strategic to tactical joint air operations planning.

Our model is used as a reference for the development of joint air operations planning systems by other key stakeholders including industry contractors and the MoD procurement agencies.

Our joint air operations planning model provides guidelines for the planning for the information flows and functions required in new or modified planning systems.

Improved Service Interoperability
We have undertaken a review of a computer information system in use by an operational HQ of the United States Air Force (USAF).

The work enabled the customer to maintain and improve operational capability whilst migrating activities from a US to a NATO system. The ultimate benefits included reducing costs and achieving data transmission.

Air C2 Procurement Consultancy
We have an established track record in advising the UK MoD on all aspects of Air C2 procurement, including:

We have undertaken extensive research into HMI related topics including the production of HMI style guides, prototyping computer based systems and the development of decision aids.
