QinetiQ iX, Defence, Heavy Aircraft Evaluation Services

Our work is centred almost exclusively on the large aircraft programmes run by the Defence Procurement Agency DPA and Defence Logistics Organisation DLO. Typically the DPA programmes include

Nimrod MRA4
A400M
FSTA
ASTOR

The DLO programmes reflect modifications and upgrades to existing aircraft including a number of Urgent Operational Requirements which have been a continuing requirement over an extended period of time.

We also support the UK Open Skies programme by providing a specially modified aircraft from the QinetiQ Air Fleet and also the MOD's aerial delivery programme.

The remaining part of the business currently consists of commercial contracts in support of UK Defence. It is anticipated that this is the most likely area in which the customer base will be expanded in future.
