Aircraft Avionic System Rigs

Descriptive Overview
This Facility maintains and operates Authority and customer owned aircraft avionic system rigs to perform test and evaluation of specific aircraft avionic systems and software. They are maintained to a level where they can be used in support of the specific aircraft trials programmes.

Characteristics of Facility

• The rigs are housed in a secure area with controlled access.
• Performance of tests on the aircraft and evaluation of software and hardware for aircraft avionics systems for test and evaluation as defined in the Statement of Requirement (SOR).
• Maintenance of the rigs in a safe condition, modification to match the operational aircraft condition and satisfaction of technical instructions.
