Descriptive Overview

The QinetiQ Air Fleet, which is based at Boscombe Down, provides a diverse range of rotary and fixed wing aircraft. Its primary role is to support a range of tasks for the MOD such as research trials, providing aircraft assets for the Empire Test Pilots School and meeting the training needs of the MOD Boscombe Down aircrew. In addition QinetiQ is (with MOD approval) able to offer the services of its Air Fleet for commercial projects enabling industry to access the aircraft and their unique range of capabilities.
