Descriptive Overview
This Facility provides logistics support to ensure that materiel is provided for the maintenance and operation of the QinetiQ Airfleet and execution of trials. This Facility also supplies consumable materials for UK MOD / Customer Allotted Aircraft and GFX.

• Provision and management of a supply pipeline for parts, consumables and contracted services to support QinetiQ Airfleet maintenance and flying programmes and the materiel requirements of the Design Manufacture and Installation (DMI) commitments for the Boscombe Down operation
• Management of stock and storage space.

Control of the following accountable assets:

1. Customer/Government furnished equipment.
2. Valuable and Attractive (V&A).
3. Capital items in which the Inland Revenue has an interest.
4. Assets needing to be tracked.

• Management of all repairable, consumable and expendable material. This comprises provision, repair, maintenance, calibration, configuration control and disposal of material.
• Calibration services for Contractor's Airfleet and bay maintenance equipment, trial equipment and GFX. Control and documentation of GFX is provided to support Authority and Customer Allotted Aircraft in accordance with DEF STAN 05-99.
• Fuel management and maintenance of fuel holdings at no less than 750,000 litres.
• The management and task allocation of external and on Site engineering support facilities to repair, calibrate and maintain aircraft support equipment, aircraft repairables and relifeable components, ground support equipment and GFX.
• The procurement of goods and services necessary to enable the Contractor to carry out business activities in support of the Contract.
• Logistics support for detached operations.
• Maintenance and management of Authority supplied technical publications.
