ETPS Facts

The Empire Test Pilots’ School has been training flight test professionals for over sixty years and has unrivalled experience in its field. The School was formed in 1943 at Boscombe Down.

The School is run as a partnership between the UK MOD and QinetiQ Ltd., under a long term agreement.

The School offers both fixed wing and rotary wing training to the UK MOD students and friendly overseas nations.
