The Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Centre San Diego has awarded the Systems Engineering Group of QinetiQ North America an eight-year, $206 million multiple-award, IDIQ (indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity) contract to provide life-cycle support services to its Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) programmes in Philadelphia.
The SPAWAR Systems Centre San Diego (SSC-SD) focuses on the acquisition and support of military-related C4ISR systems. Its procurement spans the full life-cycle spectrum, from concept development to end-of-life support of associated systems and equipment.
To support SSC-SD C4ISR Programmes Philadelphia, QinetiQ North America will offer logistics planning, post development assembly and test, worldwide system maintenance, development of user documentation and training courses, delivery of training to users and maintainers, 24/7 Help Desk support, installation and fielding of systems at user sites, and various other technical, operational and administrative support services as specified in the contract. All work will be performed in Philadelphia.
