Further to the announcement made on 15 January 2010, Mark Elliott, who joined the Board in May 2009 as an independent non executive director, was formally appointed as Non-Executive Chairman of QinetiQ Group plc with effect from 1 March. Mr Elliott replaces Sir John Chisholm as Chairman, whose last day as a director of the Company was 28 February 2010.
