We believe we have a wider role to play in the community beyond employing our people.

As a significant employer of scientists and engineers, we have a vested interest in engaging with young people with a view to encouraging them to consider careers in science and engineering. One way we do so is through our enthusiastic commitment to Science Technology Engineering and Maths (STEM) outreach programmes.

We also realise that many of our people actively want to commit their time and expertise to support local and wider society issues. Our investing in community programmes enables them to do so:

• Our initiatives with schools range from robot challenges to careers events
• Across the Group, we support a number of charities that are important to our people
• At a local level, our individual sites support a range of local issues in their communities
