How and what we buy needs to be an integral part of our ambition to improve our sustainability, so working with our suppliers is an area where we continue to focus. In the UK we are a signatory to the MOD’s Sustainable Procurement Charter and are an active member of the MOD-Industry Sustainable Procurement Working Group.

At a broader level, we have long recognised the importance of technology in addressing issues like climate change. Our scientists and engineers have developed solutions in low-carbon transport, renewable energy and waste management that will help customers meet the sustainability challenges they face.
