07/02/2018

Nova Systems today announced that a consortium led by Nova, together with QinetiQ and PwC, has been selected as one of only four Major Service Providers (MSP) to the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) that is expected to secure significant work for the next 11 years (with options).

CASG manages nationally significant and complex projects, purchasing and maintaining military equipment and supplies.

Nova Systems together with QinetiQ and PwC, have teamed up to offer CASG a truly sovereign capability, providing real and present workforce readiness and scalability. This unique collaboration of three world-leading team members is possible because each shares CASG's vision of establishing strategic partnerships to meet joint objectives. Each team member recognises the need for a paradigm change in the delivery of services to Defence.

In response to the selection, Nova Systems Group CEO Greg Hume said:

“Nova Systems, working with QinetiQ and PWC, are delighted to be selected as a Major Service Provider focused on delivering improved value for money, increased industrial capacity and enhanced capability outcomes.”

Nova Systems, QinetiQ and PwC share Defence’s commitment to growing the capability and capacity in the sector, especially through specific commitments to engage and promote small to medium enterprises.

We will deliver the services together with our six preferred suppliers: Omni Executive, Arup, SMEC Defence, Logistic Engineering Services (LES), AMW Professional Services and BMT Design and Technology.

Australian Minister for Defence Industry, the Honourable Christopher Pyne announced the selected MSP teams in a media release online.
