Training & Rehearsal: Enhanced Battle Readiness at FIA
02/07/2018
Paul Dingley
We are now only two weeks away from Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) and Training & Rehearsal is one of four key campaigns that we will be showcasing.
We have been promoting FIA and the associated campaigns and content over the past few weeks with our overall theme this year as 'Make Agility Your Advantage.
So how does Training & Rehearsal (T&R) contribute to making agility our customers’ advantage?
The rapid introduction of new technology, new threats and the high cost of running live exercises present new challenges to the training of personnel. Our capabilities enable our customers to benefit from both real and simulated training and rehearsal exercises represented in modern and realistic battle scenarios.
Our expertise in the design and development of synthetic training environments enables customers to extract the greatest value from the training system and provides safe and cost-effective training and mission rehearsal between multiple nations across air, land and sea – all at the same time. This ultimately improves operational effectiveness and maintains readiness.
This year at FIA, there is an interactive experience zone that will feature a selection of our products and services to demonstrate to our customers how we are leading the way in T&R. This zone will feature:
- The future of Defence Operational Training
- ETPS and the development of Test Aircrew Training
- Synthetic training and our offering
Over the next week, we’ll be sharing further insight into our T&R offering and a look into some of what we’ll be exhibiting at the airshow.
If you would like to visit our Chalet (A1), meet some of our leading experts, take a look around our exhibition space, and see demonstrations of how we can deliver innovative, mission-critical solutions please contact events@qinetiq.com.
