Rt Hon David Willetts MP tours Malvern site
5 June 2014: QinetiQ welcomed Universities and Science Minister, the Rt Hon David Willetts MP, to its Malvern site last week, showcasing its world leading technology and expertise.

During the visit Mr Willetts was shown a number of the company’s highly technical projects and given insight into the pioneering technologies born from the Malvern site in the past. Demonstrating QinetiQ’s key involvement in Cyber Security and in current world leading areas such as Galileo Secure Navigation and Electric Propulsion Systems for use in space, the Science Minister witnessed how a high-tech British company is investing in future technology and how QinetiQ is built around the expertise of its people.
Universities and Science Minister David Willetts, said; “I have seen first-hand how QinetiQ is delivering world leading technologies and a competitive advantage for the UK here in Malvern. It’s encouraging that the impressive expertise within the company is reinforced by its commitment to training young people and efforts to encourage students to consider careers in science, technology and engineering.”
