  • EDP is the default route for how the UK’s Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) organisation contracts for specialist engineering work that enables the rapid deployment of military equipment to the frontline.
  • It’s a commercial arrangement between DE&S and the Aurora Engineering Partnership to provide mission critical engineering services to DE&S, the wider Ministry of Defence as well as other UK government
  • departments and agencies.
  • Designed to ensure the UK’s Armed Forces receive the best equipment and support, EDP helps solve the most challenging technical issues, reduce cost and accelerate warfighting readiness.
  • To date, the EDP contract has delivered 40,000 mission critical outputs, 98% of which have been delivered on time, saving over £200m.
