Our Facilities

QinetiQ manages and operates extensive testing and evaluation capabilities for air, land, sea and target systems. We can provide our Australian customers with access to these facilities around the world.

We give our customers a competitive edge through the safe and secure conduct of operational and tactical training exercises that combine both real world and simulated events.

Since 2010 we have operated the Defence Science and Technology Group’s Scientific Engineering Services facility at Fishermans Bend in Melbourne, providing comprehensive design, manufacturing and applied imaging services. We also operate the Mine Warfare Maintenance Facility at HMAS Waterhen on behalf of the Commonwealth's Explosive Materiel Branch (EMB).
