Our Platform Capability Sustainment (PCS) programme provides a better understanding of how an aircraft is ageing and offers assurance towards its safety, airworthiness and integrity as it matures.

A typical programme includes:

Continuing and type airworthiness review: a periodic, independent assessment of fleet airworthiness, reviewing procedures, management processes, assumptions and documentation.

Physical condition survey: an independent physical examination of the condition and husbandry standards of representative aircraft from the fleet, measuring the effectiveness of existing maintenance standards/policy.

Zonal hazard analysis: validation of the aircraft design for potential undesirable system interactions based on system composition within a zone and/or adjacent zones. Recognised by the UK Military Aviation Authority (UK MAA), it should be used to inform the platform Safety Case.

Several of our customers operate platforms that are beyond their mid-life update point and are suffering with poor availability or worse, potential flight safety implications.
