As a wholly owned subsidiary of QinetiQ Australia, QinetiQ Air Affairs capitalises on an exciting opportunity to unlock greater value for our Defence and industry customers, combining QinetiQ’s global threat representation and T&E expertise with Air Affairs’ threat representation and mission rehearsal capabilities to create a market leader in threat representation, test and evaluation (T&E), and training in Australia.
As a leader in air threat representation, training, and Test & Evaluation, QinetiQ Air Affairs provides targets, training services and electronic warfare capabilities to Australian Defence, government and industry customers.
The acquisition also includes Aerospace Training Services, also based in Nowra NSW. Aerospace Training Services, a QinetiQ Company, provides quality aviation maintenance training and training support to the Australian Defence Force and is a recognised training organisation (RTO), CASA Part 147 Maintenance Training Organisation (MTO) and CAR 30 Australian Training Provider.
