19/04/2022
“Paul’s significant experience successfully leading consulting businesses in the Defence and Government sectors will be invaluable as we continue to grow here in Australia,” said QinetiQ Australia’s Managing Director, Greg Barsby.
“As head of our Advisory Services business, Paul will oversee the continued delivery of leading advisory services that contribute to the continued growth of Australia’s Defence Industry and sovereign capabilities.”
Paul’s decades of experience, both as a uniformed officer in the Australian Army and working in industry in a variety of roles, provides valuable insight and lived expertise to the QinetiQ team.
“I’m excited to commence my role at QinetiQ and lead the Advisory Services business into a new stage of growth and transformation. I am pleased to be joining a company that holds an outstanding global reputation and a strong set of corporate values that align with my own,” said Paul Angelatos.
“A long career in Defence industries has taught me that the key to success is to support your people and focus on delivering for our customers. These two pillars ensure that growth of your business is sustainable regardless of external influences.”
Paul’s appointment to the role comes as a result of the strategic restructuring of QinetiQ Australia’s delivery businesses. QinetiQ aims to establish a more agile, nimble approach to responding to real Defence needs whilst ensuring growth is sustainable.
QinetiQ’s advisory services will continue to play a central role in delivering key Defence capability programs across the Joint, Air, Land and Maritime domains.
Through technical expertise, domain know-how and rigorous independent thinking, QinetiQ will continue to provide comprehensive solutions, impartial engineering services and independent test and evaluation services that equip and enable Australian Defence Force capabilities.
