QinetiQ Australia announces Australian War Memorial sponsorship
25/02/2016
QinetiQ Australia Managing Director Greg Barsby said: “Our sponsorship of the Memorial demonstrates our commitment to corporate social responsibility. As an Australian Department of Defence contractor, we feel it is important to give back to the wider Defence community. Our aerospace consultants and engineers, who mostly work on 4th and 5th generation military aircraft, are extremely excited to have the opportunity to work on the early genesis of those technologies.”
Mr Barsby added: “The relocation of our Canberra office to a new larger office space within the business park is a reflection of the growing number of Canberra-based projects we’re supporting. It also facilitates future organisational growth and underscores our commitment to our customers, suppliers and staff.”
In addition to Canberra, QinetiQ Australia has offices in Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne, supporting more than 70 customers across Australia in Defence, Government and industry. QinetiQ Australia also employs more than 250 people, 80 of which are specialists in the aerospace domain.
QinetiQ Australia’s aerospace domain provides a wide range of advisory and engineering services, such as acquisition, sustainment and contracting, program and complex project management, systems engineering, capability assurance, risk management, aircraft structural integrity management, airframe life extension, design of repairs and modifications, stress and fatigue analysis, software development and Non-Destructive Testing.
