QinetiQ's Banshee Jet 80+ aerial target on TV news in India

QinetiQ’s Banshee Jet 80+ unmanned aerial target was featured on TV news in India in December 2020, when it was used on the east coast of India to test the Quick Reaction Surface to Air Missile (QRSAM) Missile System.

The Banshee Jet 80+ took a direct hit from the missile system, marking a major milestone for QinetiQ’s customer, DRDO, and the QRSAM System. DRDO is the Defence Research and Development Organisation, an agency under the Department of Defence Research and Development in Ministry of Defence of the Government of India, charged with the military's research and development and headquartered in Delhi, India.
