QinetiQ has brought together Accenture, Northrop Grumman UK and a network of specialist UK small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to compete for the Commissioning and Scaling contract within the British Army's Land Intelligence and Targeting Programme.
Project ZODIAC is designed to transform how the British Army collects, processes and exploits information at speed, providing commanders and operators with faster access to intelligence, enabling them to act more quickly than adversaries on the battlefield.
The new QinetiQ-led consortium combines expertise from across the UK’s defence and technology sectors in digital engineering, systems integration and mission-critical technology delivery drawing onseven years of continuous delivery on ZODIAC.
Together, the organisations are positioned to provide the open, secure and adaptable digital ecosystem required for the British Army’s Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) capability of the future.
