QinetiQ’s Telstra Creator Space team at Melbourne University has been inspiring the next generation of potential engineers with a series of workshops centred on hydraulic claws, which were designed and fabricated in-house.

 
Inspiring the Next Generation of Women in Engineering

On Wednesday 21 June 2023, we hosted an event for International Women in Engineering Day 2023 (INWED) where girls from three local junior schools, and three local senior schools came to site and met 50+ volunteers from all across QinetiQ for a day of STEM based activities.

 
The Innovation Maths Project

Three of our QinetiQ employees recently supported the 2022 innovation Maths project, which aimed to encourage more girls to consider careers involving Maths. The intention was to demonstrate how Maths is used within their career, and why it is so important.
