Successful first year for Engineering Delivery Partner service
06/02/2020
Breaking new ground has been a challenging exercise for all partners, however, as we look back at the progress achieved over the EDP’s first year, the results are already demonstrating the benefits of more agile and responsive service arrangements.
In recognition of achieving Initial Operating Capability (May 19), and to mark the first year anniversary of the EDP service (Oct 19), the Aurora Engineering Partnership have (in association with DE&S) produced ‘Establishing the service, gearing for the future’, an Annual Review document covering October 2018 to September 2019. It reflects on some of those experiences and challenges in setting up the contract; some of the successes so far and the plans to further improve the service for the future.
It has been a great start, but there’s still plenty of work to do to accelerate our continuous improvements to progress through the second and third phases of EDP in order to continue to better support the Front Line.
