By holding EASA Flight Test Approved Training Organisation status, we’re now able to offer flight test training in accordance with EASA regulatory requirements. This announcement follows the successful delivery of Flight Test Professional Refresher training to EASA for the period from 2018 to 2021, where the school received outstanding feedback.

We are really excited to have been awarded this contract yet again and look forward to welcoming back EASA flight test professionals in October 2022. The Flight Test Professional Refresher Short Course has been developed to enable flight test professionals to refresh their pilot, engineering and management skills that are relevant to upcoming trials work or have not been covered since undertaking training at a relevant Test Pilot School.

Thanks to our highly experienced cadre of instructors and the use of systems-rich aircraft at ETPS, the newly revitalised skillset gained from this short course ensures the preparedness to carry out activities that require refreshed knowledge and best practice for flight test techniques. This training course can be tailored to the customers’ needs to focus on specific of general areas of flight test ensuring the continued professional development of flight test professionals.

Delivered by QinetiQ and based at MoD Boscombe Down in Wiltshire, ETPS offers an extensive range of modular courses for Test Pilots, Flight Test Engineers, Systems Test and Evaluator Aircrew covering experimental, development and systems testing. The Flight Test Professional Refresher course is primarily delivered at the UK Home of Test & Evaluation, MOD Boscombe Down, but can be delivered on location depending on aircraft availability.
