Welcoming the third cohort of participants for our Test & Evaluation Sovereign Skills Program
04/09/2023
Each of the participants will be training as Systems Engineers (SE), Trial Control Officers (TCO) and Trial Assurance Leads (TAL) in either the Air, Land or Maritime domain, in order to meet requirements for our customers’ future programmes. For this cohort the program will be introducing a more bespoke version of the SE Maritime role, called SE C4Sys which will be based at PTP and focus on the integration of Combat Systems. There will also be an additional unit added to the learning pathway which covers some fundamental aspects of Digital T&E.
Whilst on placement, the participants will get the opportunity to learn from our T&E Subject Matter Experts and have exposure to range trials and exercises at the world-class Air, Land and Maritime T&E facilities that QinetiQ runs on behalf of the MOD. To complement this, they will follow a learning pathway including submitting assignments across eight different units both online and in a classroom environment.
QinetiQ is committed to maintaining a global leading position in T&E to protect customers’ interests globally, through leveraging our unrivalled T&E experience and expertise, and mentoring and coaching individuals.
To learn more about the Test & Evaluation Sovereign Skills Program (TESSP), including feedback from our Australian participants who made up the first cohort of the program in early 2023, visit the TESSP web pages where you can download the Program At-A-Glance and watch a short video from Mike Sewart, Chief Technology and Operating Officer.
