New QinetiQ partnership with SSAFA, the UK Armed Forces charity

We are pleased to announce a new charity partnership between QinetiQ and SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity in the UK, from April 2020 for three years.

This partnership aligns with and complements our ongoing UK Armed Forces Covenant commitments, supporting veteran and Armed Forces’ communities.

SSAFA is the UK’s oldest national tri-Service military charity, supporting Regulars and Reservists in the UK Armed Forces and their families for more than 130 years. With over 5,000 trained volunteers providing personalised case worker support, a confidential ‘ForcesLine’ helpline and a mentoring programme, SSAFA’s lifelong support is available to every member of the military community and their families, no matter how long they have served.

By partnering with SSAFA, QinetiQ aims to make a positive impact supporting UK veterans and serving Armed Forces personnel and their families in our local communities by involving our own employees across the UK in fundraising activities, raising awareness of SSAFA’s outstanding work across our external networks, and through the development of professional skills-sharing opportunities, particularly in volunteering.
