Counter Drone Solution discussions often fixate on the equipment element of the solution, whether that’s the detection technology or the ‘effects’ used to disable a rogue drone. In fact, by the time a drone is detected the time you have to react and counter it is likely to be very limited. In addition permission to deploy countermeasures needs to be sought. In short, a counter drone system alone can’t and won’t guarantee your organisation’s resilience to a drone threat. A more holistic approach to drone security is required.
